Deep Tissue Massage

The Deep Tissue Massage has some of the same characteristics that meet the Swedish massage. However, the Deep Tissue Massage applies deeper pressure, working the deep layers of muscles, tendons, and fascia.

Deep Tissue Massage.

The technique of deep tissue massage is indicated to work the deep muscles and is effective in treating chronic muscle pain.

Most massage techniques act on the superficial muscles. The Deep Tissue Massage is directed sharply towards the deeper layers of muscle, which produce a state of deep and lasting relaxation.

In this technique, the massage therapist uses his hands as well as his forearms, elbows, etc. It will perhaps cause some discomfort at first, but, afterwards, your body will feel much more relieved and your degree of mobility and flexibility will increase remarkably.

A general massage session will take about 60 to 90 minutes.
